How long does a full house rewire take?
Most rewires are done in under a week. The exact time depends on the size of the house and whether it is empty or lived in.
Can I stay in my house during a rewire?
Usually, yes. We work room by room and make sure you have power overnight where possible.
Will there be a lot of mess?
Floorboards come up and some chasing into walls is needed. We protect floors and furniture and clean up every day. Plastering and decorating are usually done afterwards.
What about a partial rewire?
If only part of the house needs work, such as a kitchen or an extension, we can rewire just those circuits and tell you honestly whether the rest is sound.
